Top representatives from fourteen Florida universities will announce a joint framework to accelerate quantum‑centered research, workforce development, and entrepreneurship across the state at the October 8th event. The announcement marks the culmination of years of investment and collaborative research throughout the Florida universities and is aimed at positioning Florida as a national hub for quantum technology. Joining top officials from the universities will be Secretary Alex Kelly from the Department of Commerce.
The special event will be part of the Quantum Beach conference, held in West Palm Beach. The conference will host presentations and panels from industry,
government, and academia on quantum technology, with a focus on quantum in the state of Florida.
Interested stakeholders—industry partners, investors, academic institutions, government representatives, and individuals passionate about quantum technology—are encouraged to attend Quantum Beach to learn more about FAQT and to attend the universities’ joint announcement.
